Kasar Devi is a village near Almora, Uttrakhand. It is known for the Temple dedicated to Goddess Kasar Devi. The area was visited by many personalities of the counter-culture like Swami Vivekananda, Sunyata Baba, Alfred Sorensen and Lama Anagarika Govinda, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Cat Stevens, Western Buddhist Robert Thurman, and writer D. H. Lawrence were among Famous Personalities who spent two summers here.

It is situated in the serene landscape of one of the most developed towns of Uttarakhand, i.e. Almora. The Resort is about 9 acre sloping site, with varying gradients ranging from very steep slopes to flat lands and cliffs, surrounded by virgin jungle consisting of Deodar, Oak and Pine trees.
